Ford GT and Racing GT Merchandise

Check out the Jackets our GT Brotherin received at Le Mans with hoods. No one has mentioned them and they are very much better quality than Daytona jackets. Anyone notice. Hopefully Ford will learn to offer top quality merchandise after th Le Mans race tomorrow. Check the pictures group.

We bought them. They were not included, and yes they are top notch. really full team gear. We spent A LOT on the GREAT gear that was there.

Any idea who was selling them? The fordcollection.com people, someone else?

I just came across this jacket

That looks like the jacket members purchased at LeMans. Maybe someone could post the price?

The stuff was quite expensive.

If I remember correctly, the prices were as follows (in EUROS). That works out to a little bit more in USD.
T-Shirt - 50
Polo Shirt - 80
Track jacket - 130
Rain Coat - 235
Heavy Coat - 280

I bought the polo and track jacket, but couldn't justify spending almost $300 on a coat.

Quality is quite good. I bought a Polo and a Soft Shell and I like them. I have seen many merchandising stuff that you could literally put in the garbage after wearing them one time. Seems not to be the case here.

They will be much less expensive when offered in the US.

It's summer! You don't need jackets.

Hang on and avoid 19% VAT, duty, crazy Euro mark-up.

I don't think there was VAT and there was a 20% discount.

And we were there to be able to buy them. Yup, was expensive, worth every penny, great memories.

You mean, from what you remember?? And yes, I include myself in that. ;-))

I bought the soft shell, rain jacket and heritage zip up. All good stuff. Should have bought more. Was cool to be in the hospitality looking like a team.

Really nice quality too.

Heeey... what are you suggesting....

We brought back some stuff. I regretted not buying more stuff in 2005-6 time frame. This does not include the stuff we brought back for others. I fortunately, brought an empty duffle bag.

Not traveling in a GT, business class, with no bag fees, and 70 lb limits loosened our buying limits.

Jeez, Andy![emoji1]

Andy and I were having a competition to acquire as much GT Merchandise as possible. It was ridiculous in the most awesome way possible.

Ah, so that's why it's taking a while to get Ford Racing apparel and gear in the USA.

You guys bought all of it!

Haha.
