I was searching the web for the castrol Edge Supercar oil and came across this offer. I don't know if it's a good deal for you guys in the US.

I found that too, is that a real web site? did you order from it? This price seems "too good to be true" low. Their "retail" listed is not even close to the actual retail.

VERY much so. At one time pre production engine compartments had Castrol branding even. I might speculate, the FIRST thing checked in a warranty claim, would be an oil analysis. Note the "GT" even on the label.

Darn no pay pal check out, I dont want to put a CC at risk, if I could push the $ via pay pal, I would gamble the $30

Does the new GT specify Castrol 5w 50?

Filter-1-HG7Z*6731*A-$62.00, 4-HG7Z*19M544*A-oil-$119.17x4=$476.68. Total Parts- $ 538.68. I’m just wondering if this figure is about the average charge? Keep in mind that in different parts of the country Customer pay per labor hour may differ, but Ford prices on Oil and Filter should be the same unless a discount was given! I’m sure I didn’t get a discount!

Those are the exact MSRP's of those items. As I will be doing it DIY, I will get a modest discount, but still is very expensive.

Did they give you the 2.3 qts they didn't use? That's $68.52.

Filter is $32.09 + shipping online.

Legit. Nobody begrudges a fair profit. My Ford dealer asks me to bend over every time I need something. I'd be happy to buy parts from him if he didn't insist on 250% markup. So I bring my own parts that I buy from other Ford dealers online. Then he just bumps up the labor.

Yes I did receive the remainder of the oil and was told by my Delivery Specialist Bernardo Martinez to keep the extra oil handy as this engine will use a little oil if run aggressive! Being a former Ford Dealer I don’t have a problem with my servicing dealers prices and I will mention they pick my GT up and deliver it back at no charge and keeps me from driving to Houston during high traffic times for customer pay work. Mileage is 70 miles round trip and my Girl looks good in that new trailer!

That is a damn good deal then. I wish all my cars had that option!
