THE MOST FUN I'VE EVER HAD IN MY WHOLE LIFE!!!
Thanks to Dave, Bony and the entire FGT group for all the extensive and exaustive...sometimes frustrating...planning and organizing. The weekend played out way beyond expectations!
Really enjoyed meeting everyone...a first-rate group of guys and gals!
Next year, for sure!!! Pay attention, those who didn't make it this year! I'll try to arrange a little time next year with the Kumho Tire Girls.
In the meantime, any of you visiting Florida near my little island, I'M BUYING THE COCKTAILS!!!
Paul Eddy

What Paul said! It was another great event and I really enjoyed seeing everyone again. Many thanks to Dave for all he did (and it was substantial) to put this together and get it done and to Daniel for keeping us fed and watered (I hate to miss a meal:eek). Visiting Jason Heffner's shop was a real treat - very impressive and I now know why his stuff works so well. He and his staff are first rate! I think a great time was had by all. Thanks again guys and I look forward to Rally III. :cheers

Completely agreed guys good fun was had by all. I can personally vouch for Paul's kindness in regards to cocktails on him !!! :cheers

" thanks to Dave and the quaterback. " ????????? Have you recovered from last evening ?? .......:biggrin

Outstanding weekend, bad finish

Have to agree, fabulous group, had great time meeting and socializing with everone. Had pulley, tune, and dyno at Heffner's Thursday, great time at the races and dinners Fri and Sat. Boy (insert our own explitive), do I wish my son Gregory and I had stayed longer to have that last dinner Sunday, instead of hitting the road home. Got past the toll booth on I-75 north of the skyway bridge, in the rain, doing what I thought was a comfortable 60
mph in the left lane, about 2000 rpm in 4th gear, and suddenly was in a spin.
Right rear of the car hit the center guard rail, came to rest in the grassy median facing south. Fortunately no one was injured, no one else involved. Spent the next several hours in the night-time rain with FHP and the flatbed driver. Given a ride to meet up with the (very pissed off) wife by a fabulous passerby. GT delivered to the dealer for inspecton late today. Yet to hear the bad news. Everyone safe--could have ben much worse. Have been beating my head against the wall ever since!! Hope everyone else makes it home safely.
Eliot (TACHY)

Ahhh bummer Eliot ! As you said good you and your son were safe. If you have intermittent GT withdrawals (and its sunny out) let me know Ill drive to your place and let you jump in the passenger seat of my car.

Thanks for the offer. Already look in the garage with sadness at the empty spot where the GT stood! Might be a while before I can get behind the wheel of mine.

Ahh I can't imagine that ! Trust me I am there for you if needed brother!!

Very sorry to hear this- but the important thing is both of you are fine.

Ditto, and my thanks to DBK for putting together another great GT gathering. And my thanks to Jason and the guys at Heffner for their generous hospitality!! PD
