Florida GTs: GP St. Pete, Heffner Dyno Day, April 4-6, 2008, *pics post 240*


Who's bringing their GT? Are the Gt guys coming? Is Elvis still alive? All questions I need answers to.

Heffner on Thursday

:biggrinSchedule me for a pulley and tune, followed by dyno run. Plan to meet at the shop for the day, but return home in the evening. Will return Friday for the weekend. Look forward to meeting everyone. Should be a great time!!
 
If the rain stays away Ill be driving over in by GT:cheers:cheers:cheers

I'm bringing mine. I sure hope at least a few other people bring theirs. I like to see them even sitting around. Come on! My car hasn't left the garage in 6 months. It needs friends.

I think Rich and Dennis are out. Nobody really needed any work done so it's not worth the expense for them.

Elvis will be there, somewhere.

They will block off a section of us in the Valet lot. We have two spaces under the awning in the front of the hotel where we can leave cars, and the rest in a lot a couple feet from the door.
 
Ok- I have dibs under the awning for my trailex! The gt can sleep outside.:wink

Yeah, the valet lot isn't covered or anything but I don't care and will leave it out there. It's right outside the door so if a hurricane shows up I'll just move it in the parking garage right next door attached to the shopping center. Someday can have the other two.
 
DBK I have tried to PM you, but no answer, I would like to get connected for St. Pete.

Parking at the hotel should be fine, but don't plan on driving the GT into downtown St Pete to see the GP.
The place turns into a zoo with little available nearby parking.

That is unless DBK has performed some magic.
 
Does the race weekend have a promotional website that shows all of the activites etc..?

We have a coach for 45 people that will leave the hotel at 8:00 AM each day. When the race people told me parking was not available in a secure area, no dice. I will send out an itinerary today or tomorrow but we have the coach from 8:00AM to 7:00 PM. It'll drop us off at 6th and 2nd, which is right by the entrance. Much less hassle.

I'm bringing my car just to run around and have some fun on off time.:biggrin
