First Drive

One of the best things about the 05/06 GT is the A/C. It works really well. I like to be comfortable while I'm driving.

Thanks for sharing your experience Nick and it was great meeting you last week as well as you new hot rod.

Thank you NJS.

Passed the 240 mile mark today -- over 40% of Break-in complete. This thing is so much fun it should not be legal. Both the kids were home for Easter and had rides -- an experience they'll not forget.

Also got it up on the lift and took some photos (to follow) of the underneath -- amazing, CF everywhere...

You should be fine -- I'm 6' 3" with a relatively long Torso.

Just beautiful! I can't wait. I'm 6' 6" now but when I'm 80, i'll be 6' 1":biggrin

Thanks! Love this thread.

Thanks for sharing. Keep the impressions coming!!

No kidding, this thread is also making me drool. Love the close up pictures!

Gorgeous. Spray a little Ospho or Naval Jelly on that rust to dissolve it and then seal it. Thanks for sharing.

Nick, so happy you got your car early. To many of the cars will not see the road for months. Also as one of my track buddy's you know how a car should perform. Everyone is excited to hear how the cas feels and drives in the real world. Your posts let us know what to expect and are like a drink of cold water on a hot day. Thanks for sharing. See you at the track.

More shots of the Rear underbody. These are the left and right rear air intakes. Note the Aluminum lifting point on the RHS shot and the fuel filler overfill on the LHS. Fantastic attention to detail!

Craftsmanship!

Very cool photos!

The CF work on these cars is truly amazing.

There is as much going on under this car as topside!

Love it, thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts with all of us.

Life is good & just got much better,

Lance

I have never seen workmanship like that on a car!! All the carbon on the underside is incredible. Cant wait to see more pics and hear more from our Forum buddies who are close to the front of the line.

AM I THE ONLY ONE WHO WANTS TO GET PROTECTIVE CLEAR FILM ON THE UNDERBODY?
