Ferrari vs. Ford: Which is more appealing?

Tint looks killer, but would probably have problems with the heat in the engine bay.

Good point. I would probably just tint the side windows, and a very light tint at that. Too bad, because tint in the engine bay could help save the signatures.

But yeah, I wonder if tint in the enging bay becomes a gloppy mess. Someone must have tried it by now...

No problem man I'm very happy that you like it and I have no problem making some more replicas of real Ford GTs if anyone would like me to do it.

You know I considered just that when I had the 20% put on the sides but the motor is just to beautiful to pull from sight. Well polished intake hat primarily in my case :biggrin:biggrin:biggrin

I have to agree with you. It'd be a shame to cover up any of these engines, and your engine in particular, it would be a third strike felony to restrict it from view...:wink

I just completed a project I started after finishing yours. I know its not a GT but hopefully the Budweiser makes up for it. This picture was taken on the 'Green Hell' thats in the Land of Beer'. (Nurburgring, Germany)

Hey FordGTGuy!

Cool rendering of the SLR.

Did you know that Jackie Stewart gave the Ring the nickname the "Green Hell?" I had the chance to walk a portion of the historic track surrounded by a forest of trees.

I was also fortunate to ride 44 laps on the modern Nurburgring Nordschleife (20.8 km long), test riding the 167HP K1200S Sport Bike for BMW. That is definitely one tough and intimidating track on a motorcycle.

A 2006 production model BMW K 1200 S set a world land speed record in the 1000 - 1350 cc stock, partially streamlined, naturally aspirated motorcycle class at Utah's famed Bonneville Salt Flats. The motorcycle, piloted by 56-year-old Andy Sills, of San Francisco, CA, reached an average speed of 173.57 mph and top speed of 176.789 mph after two runs.

Motorcycle bum

Cool photos Syco GT! I bet ya that pavement hurts when you fall! Here is a safer way - vintage motocross! It's me reliving the good ol' days on my 1972 CZ 125 in 2007 (wearing all original or repro old gear - a blast from the past).
