Jason is based near Chicago but is in Atlanta this week. Today, he detailed my GTX1. Wow, in a word, his work is incredible. The phrase "mirror finish" gets over used, but in Jason's case, he sets a new standard. Those of you who have had him detail a car for you understand. For those of you who have not, don't pass up the opportunity if he comes to your city, or if you are near Chicago. It's too bad he will not be at the Rally. He wasn't aware of it in time to rearrange his schedule but said he will be there next year. Thanks Jason! :banana :willy :banana

I can't wait for him to come out to the land of perpetual sunshine! Glad for another great feedback on his service. You and all the others have me sold!

I am glad you are pleased Kirby! The pleasure was all mine, having met you today.

You left out the best part though - The faux roof :rofl Folks, I cleaned the edges of where the roof *might be* and used 3M green tape to outline the creation. We then essentially sandwiched layers of plastic sheeting (Best known as garbage bags, cut at the seam) between the 3M tape, and another layer of 3M tape. At no time did the sheeting come in contact with the paint. I then put up three layers of said sheeting, followed by some high absorbent towels - that ALSO never touched the paint. In the end we were left with a faux roof that can with stand a few sprinkles here and there.

The GTX1 was still washed as if it had no roof, but the entire purpose of this creation was to leave absolutely no chance any water would get inside. It took about an hour to create it, but I'd rather do the job right than cut a corner and risk it. It looked silly, indeed, but in this case I was going for functionality verses looks. It worked flawlessly. Not a leak anywhere.

I will be taking care of Kirby's non-GTX1 tomorrow and I can assure you, he will enjoy it, and you cannot beat the price. My rates have been drastically discounted for this event, so instead of $299.99 - You would pay $230.00. If anyone in the area is on the fence, I think you'll be very satisfied. Foam gun wash, Zaino clay bar, Zaino "Wax (Z-2) and a few coverings of Z-6 to seal everything off and create some added durability. Did I mention there is a new sheepskin wash mitt for EVERY vehicle? Vacuum-sealed, brand new, no worries about contamination during shipping, and they are VERY high-quality. I do not cut corners...That is how I work.

If anyone is interested while I am in town I have some overnight slots for sport-sized vehicles only. I am at Grand Muffler in Marietta, GA. My cell is 847-343-4180.

Here are a couple third-party pictures from today. I have a bunch on my camera, and will get them online when I get back home on the 29th. If any administrator/moderator would like to edit my post, and re-size and re-host these images elsewhere, I would certainly appreciate it. I would do it myself if I had my own computer, and access to my server. Thanks! 700 pixels width works great.

See you tomorrow Kirby :cheers

I for one am impressed! Jason's philosophy and process is tops. I know, because I detail all of my own cars, but farm out some jobs to two very good detailers when I am in a pinch. His attention to detail seems to be just what we all all desire at a very reasonable price. I only wish he were located down the street from me!

me to Tim...

Thanks for the compliments folks, I really appreciate it :cheers

We took care of Kirby's White & Blue FGT today. What an absolutely gorgeous color combination.

What do you think, Kirby? :thumbsup

Fantastic job Jason,

"What do you think, Kirby?"

I think Kirby is so enthralled with the cars that he has not come in from the garage yet! :)

Any chance of you coming out to "Hollywood" sometime? We have a lot of GT's out here.

Jason is the best, not just because of his detailing skills and expertise. He really cares, has immense pride in his work and aside from all of that, he's a genuinely good guy.

There is always a chance. I would need real commitments by many people, to pull it off. The number is usually 20+. Why so high? plane fare, shipping supplies, lodging, food, new supplies, and more. To fly anywhere, my overhead is massive due to airfare and the shipping costs as everything is very heavy.

I will be in Scottsdale, Arizona in September. Not to ring my own bell...But people have driven from South Florida, Maryland, and New York just to get their car detailed by me in Atlanta this week. My results are worth it, and the cautious and respectful way I treat and detail your car is highly appreciated by the people that love their car the most.

And Kirby - Don't give me all the credit; you're a good guy too :rofl It has been my pleasure to meet you and take care of your vehicles. I look forward to seeing you tomorrow, and seeing the look on your face when you get the next one in the sunlight...Bring sunglasses :eek That metallic color will jump right at you now.

I really enjoy what I do and when a customer of mine, either new or return, gets a kick out of my work, that is the best part. The money just covers my time and supplies, just so I can spend it on more supplies and do it all over again.

I'm in for 4 in Cal.. Might bring one to AZ, when in Sept.?

I've got 2 or 3 for you, when you get to Scottsdale :biggrin

September 23rd-30th. If you are interested in coming to Arizona, just confirm in here and I will keep you in mind when I begin the schedule, as the date gets closer.

JBG - Sounds great. That drive should be an easy one...I don't think I'll even need to take it out of Reverse....

:cheers

Hey Tom next time give us a heads up before you fall off the face of the earth. :rofl Nice to hear from you.

I just, about ten minutes ago, finished a beautiful Daytona Sunset Orange Metallic 2005 C6 that I would love to post but I know I have to keep it FGT related :frown

Works great on ALL colors! :rofl :cheers

I must share that I feel that jason is a stand-up person.

A week ago I asked for him if he would take the time to share his ideal way to tend to a gal and also offered to purchase products as he recomended.

Well the week goes by and I receive a wonderful blow by blow aka Jason's how-too along with links to various products. I immediately offered to purchase that which he suggested because I did not want him to feel that he provided a service and then I simply went direct.

The bottom-line is that Jason not only encouraged me to go direct but followed that with his phone number and encouraged me to call should I have any questions.

Jason your style of tending to people will take you far

A most sincere thank you
