I couldn't hold my tongue when he brought up his Gift from God p 4/5 on Lambo Power explaining why the Aventador had "no buzz" because it had way less google results than p 4/5. Yup. I'm sure. Out of 10,000 people on the street I'd be stunned if 1 knew about his car and hundreds know what a lambo with doors that go up is. You could bring up the different ways cat piss smells depending on what their diet is and he'd work in "Did you know a cat once pissed when it saw the p 4/5 Ferrari custom built for me? I don't know how to put this but I'm kind of a big deal. I'm very important. I have many leather-bound books and my apartment smells of rich mahogany."

Magnanimous!

I know Jim, I've been to his home, his shop, etc. He's definitely got quite a collection, is passionate, drives all of his cars, and yes, he's a little impressed with himself. The P4-5 in his opinion is priceless, since it's one of a kind. He enjoys it, and I'm glad for him. His father (Seth) still alive, and still sharp, is the brains of the family business, an icon on the street.

I have major respect for his car collection, he's obviously very knowledgeable and his p 4/5 deal is definitely worth a ton. The commitment to bringing it up, no matter what the topic of discussion, is unseemly to me.

Well I'm pretty impressed!
John

More proof yet that money does not buy class.

It does buy a buttload of great cars however. :lol

Temporary thread hijack

Dave - just noticed your sig and one of the great all-time Bill Murray movie lines.

Here's some unusual underwear:

Good for SanFran. Maybe not so good for Deetroit! :rofl

He has over 25,000 posts on Ferrari Chat so he must spend a fair amount of time in front of the computer. I have to say he does have some interesting posts.

And, Dave, yes when you make that plunge into F Car as I did you quickly begin to realize how important you really are. I actually have leather bound magazines and a mahogany refrigerator. It all began to make sense when I got the 458.

I'd just like to have a contractor.

Not to work yourself to death but to enjoy yourself to death.

Couldn't have put it better. No matter what.

No consideration so no. I have now exhausted what I remember from Contracts class in L school.

(1) lol icon conveys/implies a jest.

I'd just like to have a contractor.

(2) "a contractor" does not identify any specific contractor.

Is that, 'Offer and Acceptance' ??

(3) No...since no contract/agreement/consideration was actually offered or accepted! :biggrin

'Glad I could be of assistance, gentlemen!

'Barrister' Pockets

(How'd I do, Terry?)

I would like to learn from this man and how he achieved success.

Leather & Mahogany gives me wood.

All the Ferraris aside, he gets bonus points for owning an original GT40.

Nicely done, EP.
