Extending front O2 sensor wires

Has anyone extended the front O2 sensor wires? I see where they make O2 extender harnesses for Mustangs but I was told they don't fit the GT wiring harness plug.

actually I think they do! look for the GT500 harness, you might have to cut off the little tab on the harness plug, contact Torrie he should know!

I bet you can find an aftermarket O2 sensor that has longer lead wires. Even if you can't find that, extending the wires via a splice from the O2 shouldn't be hard and it would leave the stock harness unaffected.

Mustang extenders will work. Been there, done that. You may have to dremel off a tab, but easy and straightforward to do.
