I think this is my 4th or 5th gauge I've had to replace. Yes, been on a battery tender for years. Anyone have an "excellent" condition gauge they want to sell? Anyone know what the price is for a new one?

Thanks.

Talk to Torrie, but look at the thread about gauges. It will be 6 months until a final solution is determined.

Did you check/replace the Temp Gauge "SENDING UNIT"?

Not sure what that is or how to replace. The gauge just froze at about 180 degrees. Fans still come on at the right temp, so I don't think the software is affected.

Always R&R the sender/sensor first as it's considerably cheaper than the gauge. My oil pressure sender failed at only 3,000 miles and it was an easy 10 minute $25 part fix once the underbody pans were off.

I'm sorry but if the needle is frozen at a particular position there is no need to mess with sending units. Your gauge is bad. I have two new gauges in the box if you are interested, please PM me.
