Has anyone thought of fitting an engine stabiliser.. The engine trans seem to move quite a lot under load, I feel it through the gear stick, with all new mounts. Solid mounts are not good for road comfort, so am looking at a stabiliser somewhere..

If I rest my hand on the shift knob, I can feel it torque over. So, that is normal. What's the problem?

When in 6th if I accelerate and decelerate I can see the shift lever move back and forth.

No real problem just not wanting my engine moving around so much, not good for the mounts..

I think it would be better to wear the mounts out than to tweak the frame. ?

The motor/ transaxle were designed to move quite a bit. Measured in inches under full throttle situations.

The shifter movement is quite normal.

I agree as I'm sure it is designed that way

Maybe you just have the shifter "Waggle". Mine does. The shift cable is moving your lever a little as you accellerate and decellerate. It is not your engine shifting. It is part of the transmission doing it.
