During the past several months, my engine check light comes on 1-2 times a week when I start the GT. I shut it down, restart, and the light is off. Any one else experienced this? Any thoughts as to what is causing this? Thanks.

You simply need to get a code reader (very inexpensive now and a good tool to have around) and read the codes. Post the error code number here and we'll be able to tell you eactly what the problem is. alternatively, I thnk Autozone will read the error codes for you. Anyway, this is needed to help diagnose your problem.
