Early GT's to be sold

Aren't these Marketing cars non-production models, therefore have no warranty and are not street legal. Probably sold with a 5 mph limiter. The ideal car for EP. Don't need to go over 5 mph on the driveway or to load or unload onto a trailer.

Doug, when I say "marketing cars", I mean the actual marketing division of FMC had them in their possession, not SVT or the FGT team. So I'm sure there's good backstory to them, but not involving the FGT Team personalities the majority of GT owners are familiar with (i.e Jamal was over last night and he didn't even know who had the european marketing car). I assume a car like the Nardo car or the black CP-1 went for more money regardless of condition just because lots of people we regularly associate with the program were involved with them.

You too bud. :cheers

DBK - the European marketing car last year was at the Le Mans Classic race. Talking the fellas from Ford at the raceI learned that it had been kept at Roush UK but they were hoping to have it shipped back to the US, otherwise it would have to be scrapped, as it was a US Spec vehicle.

That's the one that was written and photographed in Adrian Streather's book "Ford GT: Then and Now." which they drove to the Ferrari factory at Modena/Maranello. Lots of photos of it.
