Seeing the GR1 at R3 was also very cool .The GT in the video I would like to know about .Did it run or was it just a show car?

good article. We worked with ARIA Group in Irvine on the DevonGTX for several years. They built the first 2 vehicles that were run at Laguna Seca and displayed on the 'Green" at Pebble Beach . Scott Devon still owns the Red GTX and the Black GTX resides in Florida after it was sold at BarrettJackson several years ago.
Clive Hawkins and his team do some good work. :):)

I talked with them a couple of years ago to see if I could buy one of the V-16 engines. Even though they have all the tooling and parts, GM prohibits them from selling to the public. Bummer..

I would have guessed all those prototypes were built in house for ultimate control and secrecy.
