Note the "vehicle exclusions" cause and only 5 qts of oil.

Frankly I wouldn't bring my car into a shop if the oil change were free. I would rather do the labor myself and pay for the materials. At $29.95 the dealer either has to take a huge loss, or must take shortcuts in labor and materials!

"Do you think the GT would qualify?"

Even if it DID, and you supplied the extra 4.5 qts of oil, would you wanna see 'em put "Motorcraft premium synthetic BLEND oil" in your GT? And then there's the prospect of likely damage to the car DURING the oil change due to ignorance of the specifics involved.

But, why are we even addressing the possibilities when YOU WERE JUST BEING A SMART ALEC ANYWAY, SAM?! :slap

Not sure my dealer would know where it goes. This is like when my Dodge dealer sends me periodic notices that my Viper is due for a tire rotation.

I think if you take your car in they would love to "inspect the brakes" for you with a road test!

Dealers do not make money on oil changes, even at full price . They actually lose money even with the junior mechanics and mostly apprentices doing the work. They do it as a courtesy to customers for future business and i believe (not 100% sure on this just make sense) part of contract with the manufacturers.
