I'm in need of the part number for a Y connector that feeds the breather on the fuel filler neck.
I would like to call Ford tomorrow and I'm thinking they wont know what Im taking about.

Thanks!

Yeah, buy this illegal reproduction, a bunch of blank CD-Rs and then make and sell your own. See, isn't stealing fun! Who said crime doesn't pay!

You have access to people within the forum that do this sort of thing for a living :

Thanks Torrie, I dont see the part in your picture but if it was it would be attached to the end of the small tube on the filler neck.

That is as defined as the diagram gets for the fuel filler pipe. Only other options I can guess would be :

Sorry guys, my rant was aimed at the scumbag ebay guys who take Ford's intellectual property (protected by law, by the way) and then just shamelessly copy it and sell it. Their investment is comprised of one copy of the online service manual and then a bunch of CD-R and labels. Cost of goods sold for them is probably $.15, and so they can sell it for $17-$XX and make huge margins. All of this on the shoulders of the organization who beared the non-trivial authoring costs which, in this case, is Ford. My comments were NOT AT ALL intended to be any reflection on Kingman or Scooter. *RANT OVER*

Why isn't Ford shutting them down?

Why isn't Ford shutting them down?

Good question.

Why isn't Ford shutting them down?

Why rock the boat when you can charge thousands of dollars for things like defective gauges and get away with it. Can't we all just get along.

When I put the fitting on the counter at Ford they just laughed at me. They thought it was for a Mustang GT at first. Thanks Torrie, the Y fitting is not shown in your picture but it would be part# 9C047B, there is a small line showing part# 9K313B going into the 9C047B....that would be the Y fitting. I just finished rigging it up.

Torrie -

Is there a cross reference somewhere between the part numbers in the service manual and the actual Ford part numbers? Is it available?

Email me I can do that for you. The diagrams and the service manual just list the base numbers. I have a subscription DVD that I use to look up the full current part numbers.
