I was searching for the answer to this, but couldn't come up with an answer.

Is there a definitive post somewhere with all the details of our motors? Are they equipped with oil cooled pistons?

From what I have read yes. However I have never seem them 1st hand.

I could've sworn I read that somewhere too, but I can't find the source now. Anyone?

BASE ENGINE DESIGN
Working within the vehicle package and basic Modular
Engine architectural constraints, an all-new aluminum
cylinder block provided the foundation for a short-block
assembly and provides piston cooling via integral oil
squirters in the bulkheads.

Yes we do

Come on Charlie, give the guys the details....

Yes we have oil squirters used to cool the pistons. SAE report 2004-01-1252 page 2.

"The 0.85 bore/stroke ratio drives very high piston speeds, and when coupled with high IMEP, the resultant stress on the piston mandates cooling."

Come on Charlie, give the guys the details....

Actually, Charlie was nice enough to email me the entire SAE paper. I knew I had read that before, just couldn't find it yesterday.
