Well, I did a dumb thing and left my trailer out on the street while I had work done on my yard. In the trailer I had the stock supercharger and a bunch of brand new stuff like winches and e track I had not installed yet. Last night some crack head cut the locks and cleaned out my trailer.:thumbsdow They actually dropped a small bag of crack in the trailer.
I imagine there is not a whole lot they can do with the supercharger other than trying to peddle it. I doubt they will even know what it is for. I just thought I would mention it in case any of you see one show up for sale by someone other than a reputable source.

Have you tried selling the found "merchandise" to cover some of your loss?

If you have insurance, don't forget about that new set of wheels and tires you had in the trailer too and that large Snap-On box full of tools.

Seriously...sorry to hear about it. Imagine some people not willing to WORK for a living!

You've just illustrated why a person should be able to collect a $5K BOUNTY on every wunna those pukes you find and SHOOT...rather than go to jail for doing so.

Truely sorry to hear of your loss.

would be nice to have a bomb hooked up to a theft switch, leaving those thieves on the road could easily bring a wink to the eye.

We have a 24 foot enclosed trailer that some low-lifes tried to break into about a year and a half ago. It was locked up behind one of our production buildings and these guys came in and stole a bunch of stainless tubing that was sitting out back. Then they tried to break into the trailer. They even climbed up on the roof and ripped off the little skylight thing. The really painful thing was that there was nothing in it. They did thousands of dollars of damage trying to break into the trailer (unsuccesfully) and even if they had gotten into it, there was nothing there to take but some tie-downs.

I own a warehouse where several car guys and racers store their cars and trailers. We have had as many as 14 trailer break-in occurances. They always go for the tools, winches, etc. that are easily fenced. The local Sherriff's department arrested a guy that is known to have broken in to literally hundreds of trailers over the past couple of years.

I felt lucky, if you can say that for having this happen, that they got in without damaging my trailer. My folks had their 5th wheel broken into at a storage yard a few years back and the idiots did more damage to the doors and storage areas than the stuff they took. Just amazing to me.
