Very nice!

Love the race car look.

Looks good! Lower the front end 1/2" and it'll look even better.

Very cool. Can you please post an up close picture of the rear wheels? Also wheel size/make?

The wheels are stock OEM Ford GT wheels that I had the centers powder coated gloss black at a lower temperature than usual not to compromise the integrity of the wheel. The outer lip was sprayed with a clear. The spinners were custom made using the guts of the OEM ford GT spinner and a chrome spinner. The front spinners had to be slightly modified to accomodate the different offset of the front wheel vs the rear wheel.

:thumbsup :thumbsup

Your car looks great! I like the blacked out stock wheels a lot.

May need a bumper delete.

Like it a lot :thumbsup

Agree with Dave and Frank - would make it go from awesome to super awesome :wink:thumbsup

:cheers

Looks great, sorry I wasn't able to visit on Saturday before you headed out. Probably see you this weekend :)

You did a great job, GT looks awesome. My pal Archie owned and raced #83 it for a number of years, sold it a year or so ago and retired from Historic racing. He drove it at Le Mans 24-Hour Classic a few years ago. Prior to that GT40, he raced a big-block GT40 and ran over 200 mph at Bonneville. P / 1083 WAS THE LAST ORIGINAL GT40 TO BE CONSTRUCTED IN PERIOD AND SOLD BY THE FACTORY AS A COMPLETED RACE CAR. Shot is Archie, left, getting trophy at Amelia Island a few years back.

Great information as always Marty.

Very nice, Marty. And Archie is just another of many unassuming Car Guys Who Lunch here in Sarasota. Thank you for your untiring efforts in documenting the history of motorsports.
