Welcome to Alabama!!
Gentlemen,
Just crossed the border into Alabama. 270 miles and 4 hours to go. Moose is tan, rested, and back behind the wheel. I’m delirious and had ALMOST fallen asleep when my son Charley called me from Uruguay. He’s been down there for two years now working as an oil trading risk analysist for Trafigura. He told me they promoted him and he’s taking over a larger operation for them back in Houston. I’m so happy to have him back in the states but with that excitement there’s no way I’ll sleep so I’m going back to Red Bull and a new podcast for the home stretch.
Looking forward to switching from caffeine to Makers Mark after we land at the hotel and get the GT unloaded. Cheers brothers!

The moment we crossed the state line into Georgia it started raining. Terry and Monica are about 20 miles ahead of us on this same highway. I’m really looking forward to getting out of this truck. With all the heavy rain we’ve driven through I’m glad my GT is clean and dry back there in the Trailex instead of on the road. It would be a mess if I’d driven it and John would be most uncomfortable with my luggage and ice chest on his lap.
