Can anyone recommend a nice indoor cover for a 17-21 GT? I understand they are unavailable from the GT program. Thanks!

The fact this hasn’t been rectified yet is mind boggling.

Best cover I've seen. Yes, Ford doesn't offer it anymore but they can still be had. A little spendy but well worth it!

Could always get a cover for a 1970's Cadillac - will certainly be big enough :)

They used my car to make a new cover with the wing up. They will make it as custom as you want.

Looks like your car just saw a race track!

Can you get cover on / off easily over the mirrors ? I bought a California Car Cover and it's nice however I tore the

stitching getting it on / off the mirrors
Not sure why it has to be so tight

I bought the cover from Ford when car was ordered, 2019 Heritage edition and, now we are told we should keep wing up, it doesn't fit right I have been told to pound sand GOOD JOB FORD...... Obviously they do not care as they already have my money $1000 cad for something that I do not use as it doesn't fit Cannot wait to sell this POS ( My opinion ) FYI Heritage spec car on MSO and only box not ticked was the lug nuts, 149 days to go Geez time flies when you get older. PS I used to bleed blue till they bled me out.

Just my two cents on the car covers. I have two covers for both my '05 and '19 Carbon Edition. I don't use the factory cover for either car. I had a custom Cover King cover (Red w/white stripes to match my car) made for my '05 when I bought it and it was a great investment. The factory cover seemed too abrasive to be taking on and off as it does not have an inner liner. I ordered the factory cover for the 2019 when I placed my order and have put it on once. I know others have mastered putting it on and taking it off without placing too much stress on the mirrors but once was enough for me...….. Also, there is the wing issue. I took someone's suggestion and purchased a solid black Cover King for the 2019. It was reasonably priced and lightweight, soft, and loose enough to take on and off with the wing up or down. A great purchase for the money. But..... I do think the car cover for a car like these should be just as nice to look at as the car. I will eventually get a Goodwool Car cover. This is the same cover Shmee got for his car. I think the detail as second to none. It's pricey but for most, I think this cover would be considered as much of an investment and garage art as the car itself. Go check out the site www.goodwool.it. They can do pretty much anything you want. I have talked to the guy (Sebastian) there and he is a good guy. If you decide to reach out, tell him I sent you. He is a fan of the GT.

I don't cover either car and like Ron would rather look at them. If they get dusty a quick rinse and good as new! On the factory cover issue not sure why I bought it, never been out of the box and the fact it was overpriced, doesn't fit seems trivial in the overall experience.

So does the confezioni andrea cover stretch enough to get it over the mirrors? I dont mind the cost just dont want to rip an expensive cover or be a pain to put on/off. Thanks for the help!!

I never cover my cars except the 2005 Thunderbird that I need to store with roof down.
The "On/off/abrasion on dry surface/ tugging concerns me. I would never even drag a dry microfiber over the surface let alone a stretch car cover.

I did ,like most , get the car covers for both the 2006 and 2017 Ford GT 's but they are still in the box.

Confezioni Andrea makes the factory cover, so it should be the same. It is tight on the mirrors and people have tweaked them pulling the cover off, but you just have to be a little careful with your order of operations. If you are intent on storing the car with the cover on, it is a beautiful cover that shows the shape of the car. The cars routinely sit under these covers at MNV while awaiting shipment.

Spartan has been able to have C.A accommodate the wing storage recommendation independently but Ford Performance somehow still hasn't managed to handle it yet as a factory option they created. Crazy. But not really at this point.

Maybe I shouldn't speak about the NGT but I just got an indoor California Car cover for my FGT and it's very nice and soft and fits over the mirrors just right .. enough to hold the cover in place but definitely no extreme pulling required to get it over them.

Note: Ordered 9/23 and arrived 11/11. They state "Any car covers that need to be manufactured are currently shipping within 3-6 weeks." and didn't tell me, "Normal production time is 14-21 days, but due to the current challenges presented by COVID-19 , car cover production has currently been delayed up to 6-7 weeks" until I inquired.

You do not have the mirror masts to contend with.
