Finally my chance to own a GT at only 10K had arrived. All I need is his info and I'm gonna go wire him the money right away.

I wonder if people really are dumb enough to believe you can get a 175K car for 10K. I really do.
 
Looks like I am gonna have to lower my prices to compete with this guy! :rofl
 
I e-mailed him to find out what "he thinks is fair to know" (as described in the auction) about the car.
 
This should be his answer.....
"I am gonna take your $9900 that I am gonna talk you into sending me by western union and never send you anything and ebay will not do sh*t about it"

I got a real kick when I viewed the "SELLERS" other items. Seems they all go for the same price. I plan on making a real killing tonight.:willy

Hello and thank you for your interest in my car.
The reason why I am selling so cheap involves my job.
I am an architect and I was requested to work on a big project in Austria.
I have moved here with my family and right now, one of my kids is in hospital with major injuries due to a car crash (school bus).
I'm selling the car because, I need the money to pay for his surgery and I don't have any other sources and I need to sell it quick.
That's why the car is priced very so low!
I left the car in the US at the shipping company (www.atwsint.org). You will receive all the documents of the car (owner's manuals, keys, clear title, bill of sale) in order to register the car under your name.
The shipping fees have already been paid. The car is in perfect shape and runs smoothly. The car has been always garaged and I have never smoked in it.
If you want to buy my car e-mail me with any questions that you may have. The price of the car is $9,900.

ebay sent me a notice they cancelled the auction
 
yeah he sent me the same reply......I told him I wanna go see it......what do you supposse his answer will be?
 
I've busted this same scam about a dozen times on E-Bay.I can't believe they keep trying.

I'm surprised that he left out the important parts about his elderly mother who lives in a nursing home, his dog that just died, the recent IRS audit and back-taxes he owes, and his own terminal illness. Now if he added that it would certainly justify selling a Ford GT for less than $10K! (Who cares what the value of the car REALLY is!)

The stupidity of the larcenous mind never ceases to amaze me! If this clown had listed this imaginary FGT with good pics from a previous ebay auction, an actual VIN #, a standard description and a sell price starting at $125k, he might have sucked someone in. These scammers always go ridiuculously low with a Buy It Now price that invariably gets flagged. Corvettes are a favorite ebay hunting ground for these a-holes.

This fool is probably living in a grass hut in Nigeria typing away on the laptop some do-good US taxpayer funded agency bought for him.

I got the same repsonse. It could be a 13 year old kid or something. I find it hard to believe any adult would be so stupid (I find it hard to belive any 13 year old would be that stupid!)

Very amusing.....

We have a lot of Nigerian scam emails at the moment - usually start with "Hello Sah, We am de hed of de Nigerian Central Bank, and, dew two circumstansas not in me control, we need to transfah da sum of $30,000,000,000 into your bank account......"

I realise the irony of the spelling may be lost on Empty. :lol
