Bucket list trip

My two sons, three grandsons and I took an 1800 mile driving adventure across South Dakota, Wyoming and into Montana. We drove The SD Black Hills, WY 14a through the Big Horn mountains, Wyoming's Chief Joseph Highway (highly recommend!), and Montana's Beartooth Highway. I drove my '05 GT, one son drove his Porsche Cayman, a grandson brought his Scion FRS, and another also brought his Porsche Cayman.

What a blast, and not a single break-down! I realize that I'm not getting any younger, and need to stop putting things like this off. And man is that GT fun to drive!!! Plus I don't think anyone in Wyoming has ever seen a GT as it gathered a crowd everywhere we stopped.

The perfect trip. No women. What kind of trip did you have to buy your wife off with? I have done similar on hunting trips out that way. I do remember seeing a Lamborghini in the middle of nowhere Wyoming.

Most excellent!
The closest I’ve come to that is doing track events with my son!
It’s the only time he actually really listens to me when I’m instructing him

You don't have a family--you have a car club!

I'm envious. I have to do more stuff like this with my son, my brothers, etc. The Beartooth and Chief Joseph highways into Yellowstone are epic.

Long time coming and lifelong memories.

Wonderful!

Looks like a great time. It is hard to explain the 'big sky' unless you've been there, truly beautiful.

Cool trip!! (y)

Great trip Jim. Memories for sure.
