Borla Question... How many of you have the Borla Installed

Here are some pix of the jet hot coating on the borla with about 2000 miles on 'em.

Fubar's coated pipes look clean and neat and the coating dissipates heat very well but I prefer the "straw color" of the natural stainless steel pipes on my GT! It is a very personal preference.

I have one too

I replaced the OEM with the Borla before I took delivery.
Am generally pleased, however, after some hard acceleration usage the muffler has developed a sour note in the 2-3K rpm range under power which buggs me. Just does not sound the same as original. Possibly a baffle has come loose internally?
Was thinking of having Borla look/listen to it when out in California to see if they could determine anything.

I am sure they would be willing to do that. I will post as soon as I know if they will be joining us at the event as a sponsor.

I also have the ford Header & Ford/Borla muffler, & love it, Thanks

Tim that looks great !. It also looks like they stick out just a tad more than others I have seen pics of. Just more aggressive looking.:thumbsup

Any under Clam pics?

I haven't shot any under the clam shell, but I do plan on taking the car to Newport Beach for the rally. I was originally planning on bringing the white and midnight blue car, but with all the mods going on with the Heritage, everyone wants to see it!

It's probably not a bad idea to have it looked at while in So. Cal.

Great news... Alex and Alyse Borla have again offered to be our sponsor at the GT Cocktail party! Make sure to thank them for their continued support!

BORLA
a great sponsor of THE FORD GT FORUM

Can you purchase the exhaust directly from Borla, or do you need to buy it from Ford Racing?

No... you need to purchase through a retailer like Ford Racing.

As DBK posted, I have the Borla muffler on my Midnight Blue. :thumbsup

#5 has a borla.

I have a Borla in my Porsche 930S slantnose and I simply couldn't be happier with it. Not too loud but everyone knows I'm there.

Thanks again to Alex and Alsye Borla's for their continued support of our Ford GT Rally! Please let them know how much you enjoy their products. Please send them and email or letter thanking them again for what they have done for our group. They are a great family operation and I am proud to be considered their friend.

I had the pleasure of having dinner on the yacht with Borla's Chris Kaufmann. This man is a wealth of knowledge about many things in the car and motorsports world. Many people probably don't know that Chris is also a world class shooter & NRA national champion. He and I share a few mutual friends in that arena also. He will be the one I talk to when it comes to a change of my exhaust system for sure. Also, thanks be to you Jerry for setting us up with Borla as a sponsor of the rally. Thankyou Borla for a great event.

I have the Borla on my 05 GT and my 97 Viper GTS. PD
