"My wife offered to be in the pics, but then it would have felt like I was bragging. Those ones stayed in the private stock."

Lucky bast@rd!

Thinking about changing the rules at Bonyland, you will have to submit "interesting pictures of the wife/girlfriend or both togethe" in order to gain admission.....

Great photos - the GT looks right at home on the beach. But mind that salt!

Skyrex you got me fired up to do the same beach side here in SoCal.

Seeing Ralphie's mountain/waterfall pics got me thinking of shooting these photos. Always been a big ocean/beach guy.

It was definitely fun....but set aside some time. I thought I would buzz over there, snap some shots and buzz home. Ohhh nooooo. :biggrin

Let's just say that between shots there was quite a few stoppages for GT show and tell as onlookers and people driving by pulled over for their own photos and to ask questions. To me that is half the fun of the car.....chatting with people about the car. It was a lot of chatting and waiting for people to move to get shots that were just the car and the scenery. I was lucky that I have Avila Beach near by and the position of the road was very conducive to good shots. A pro could do wonders there.

If you head to your beach KJRGT, consider where the sun is going to hit your car. It can play havoc with the lenses, hence two trips to get the pictures the way I wanted. But that just meant more driving and more fun. :thumbsup I'll be looking for your thread of pics coming soon. :cheers

Avila beach....2 miles north of Pismo beach near the natural hot springs. Very nice elevated access road that runs along the beach to the port. Actually I am very lucky to have this kind of stuff so close. As an original east coaster I appreciate how good the weather and scenery is.....especially this time of year. :thumbsup

People all said when I left...."You will miss the season change." I don't mind playing in the winter weather for a week or two but give me sunny blue skies and shorts weather every day and I am a happy guy. I figured on a career in a different way than most. I figured out where I wanted to live, then started the career there. :cheers

will you be attending the concours this weekend and go on the drives?

Working weekend for me. :frown I will be lucky to get in my favorite 30 mile loop around here. Sounds like a good time.

I need more free time. :lol :cheers
