GT looks awesome - what's the Batmobile doing at Daytona ?

My money is on the Batwing in a race, thought the Batmobile is pretty cool.

Batmobile was there for a charity car show or maybe on lookout for Super Villains

I'm thinking more like looking for Super Villains

I'd rather own the Batmobile. :)

It's worth a small fortune - i think the last sale on it was 4.2 million at BJ last year.

Not as cool as the FGT, or as great driving a car, but I could buy 20 FGT's if I sell the Batmobile!

Don't confuse value with price. The BJ auction of the guy buying it was between two people that really, really ,wanted it. That set the price. Try to sell it on an open market now and it might not get the price of a delivery miles Heritage GT.

I would take the chance and believe it will still bring more than even 2 delivery miles Heritage GTs.

I'd send it back to BJ and sell it to the 2nd guy that DIDN'T get it! :)

Best get a PPI on that Batmobile first :wink - I don't think THAT one is the "original" (note no Barris logos on front fender). Like the Ford GT40, there are a bunch
of Batmobile replicas out there (the guy who painted my ERA has built two), and, like GT40s, the replicas aren't worth a fraction of what the REAL one is.

I was referring to the original Batmobile that George Barris owned of course...:)
