Bad wrap

By that do you mean closing the garage after a jog through the park?

Thin' 'yeeew knowed' what I ment! :lol

Jus' tryin' to look out for 'yur' sorry backside, there, Bro. :biggrin

If you are driving in the latest Fast & Furious movie, do you know Sammy Maloof? He is a buddy of mine, built my BOSS 302 engine for me.
Be safe and when you return we'll have to get out on the road together, maybe to Cars & Coffee in Irvine. I'm right up the beach from you in the Palisades.

But, what if one's trying to obsure one's presence...like, say, when trying to "blend in" to the surroundings after making a "spirited" run somewhere? :biggrin

I think Pockets has had a spirited run at the Wynn at some point of his life....

What is the color underneath??

Tungsten

Grant, Frank knows where the gas pedal is.. He just can't push it down very far !! Please get him to the gym for a leg work out ...:rofl

Too funny Stormcat! But sadly, also true. :willy

Did you guys think I would miss this thread? Ha, ha, you're both really funny.

looks excellent, love the results, gives me ideas :) thanks for sharing

Thanks for all the compliments! She was hot in Tungsten, but a completely different beast in Matte Black with the Accufab X-Pipe. Now I literally can't get enough.
Obey-You know actors "do all their own stunts." Or at least they say they do. And I definitely didn't drive a Pantera in Fast 5.
Superfly-The centers of the HRE's are satin, and I had the barrels powder-coated gloss black. So they'll match both the matte body and the gloss stripes.
HHGT-Hit me up when you get here. Think we're done at the end of next week. Hopefully you're here before then.
KJRGT-I do know Sammy Maloof. I Pit maneuvered him in the TV show Las Vegas. Let's get together when I get back.
I'll post more and better pictures after the stripes are installed.
Glad you guys like what we did.

Timmy, You got me and like everyone else said it looks great.

Now an admission. I have no idea how or what this is. Is it like a giant sticker? How in the world would they keep air bubbles out of it? Is it like flat paint where if you touch it will leave finger prints and oil spots? Washing? Waxing?

Just put a dunce cap on me and shove me in the corner at the rally

Here are the guys that did mine. I'm sure their website will describe the product better.

I have had every one of my cars done for the past 8 years. I've watched skillful people put this stuff on the most curvaceous surfaces while stretching and heating followed by precision cutting. I have watched these guys squeeze every bubble with extreme care. In the worst case you will see some stretch marks, but in flat surfaces it is not as evident.

I personally could not put simple tint on a flat piece of glass. What they do is amazing.

Frank did you have them come up north or take the car to them?

I know us GT guys should not ask about cost I was just wondering if it's a 10K deal or 20K deal or??????:willy

OK back to my corner in the class room with my dunce cap

And, could you scoot OVER a little? You're hoggin' the whole seat.

Thank yeeeeew...:lol

I was just wondering if it's a 10K deal or 20K deal or??????

Man if that is the case, that is a ton of dough!!! I was thinking yesterday, what would be the most I would pay and I came up with $6K but I am a cheap bastard....

And while we are at it, you said we the GT guys are not supposed to ask how much? Well, I always wondered why that is that the case. When I flip through car magazines and I see advertisements with no prices, I just flip the page. Personally it irks me when I see a $$Price call to inquire... Either advertise it or don't... Geez I now I sound like Pockets:ack but thank God I'm better looking:eek
