Looks like some kind of Cobra in the right side of the picture. Whatcha got there. Can't make out the vehicle in the far left, although a roll bar seems to be evident? Enquiring minds want to know.

"aiv" alum intensive vehicle
it has 4000 miles, powered by roush cobra engine and it is a blast to drive
they call it a prowler on steroids--lol

auto 5 speed, steering wheel, ford 8" rear, ac/heat front and rear, stereo, 3 year/36 month warranty at any ford dealership, air suspension, etc, etc. it grabs more attntion then anything i own and it is fast, stable and a ton of fun.

Wow Sam, really unique and cool stuff. The Panoz looked a little Cobraish from the rear in the garage, although I did see what looked like center exhaust. The "trike" looks like a riot. Glad you got another GT for your collection.

Welcome Back

Sam,

Welcome back to the GT fold.

I was not aware that you were also an owner of a Panoz AIV Roadster.

Here are pics of mine which is a 1999 - 10th Anniversary Edition.
I purchased the 1st production unit to be sold by Panoz with a Kenne Bell Twin Screw Supercharger installed as original factory equipment. Only the last 4 Panoz AIV Roadsters came with this as a factory option, all were Anniversary Editions. Note the 'tounge' sticking out of the hood scoop, it is to cover the blower pully that otherwise would stick out of a hole that was required in the hood for clearance. As you know these things are very quick, and this one is down right scary with the supercharger and opional lower rear end gear ratio.

I call it my 4 wheeled motorcycle.

You just got to LOVE 'EM.

Enjoy the GT, and please keep this one [and the Panoz too].

Fred

wow fred
great panoz you have there
i especially like the color.
the gent i purchased my aiv from lived in florida and he had mine plus an anniversary edition in blue.
he still owns the anniv. and as soon as he is ready to sell it, i'm getting first crack at it.
i was very pleased with my purchase, because it is one of the rare ones with the roush wheels and trunk mounted roush tool kit.
other then the wind factor in the face, this car is like a gentlemans cobra.
thx for sharing, and don't worry, now that the stents are working for well over a year now and the doc's gave me a clean bill of health, my 91 zr1(1400 miles), new gt or panoz will ever leave me again.(and i'm going to drive the sh*t out of all them for a change--lol)

ciao for now
sam

(BTW: that "bronze" 70-72 'Vette in the upper right of the photo is the same color my '68 was.)

i think that bronze was a 71--saw it at the show last year and it was awesome-original owner car.
as far as the smokes, tough to do away with after 45 years.
2 days after the stents, security was called to my hospital room bathroom, because i set off the smoke alarm-----
hopefully the stents will give me another 10 years of happy smoking time !!!!
