I'm sure many of you are familiar with the book American Icon: Alan Mulally and the fight to save Ford Motor Company, but I was surprised that many people at Chip's dinner tonight hadn't read it. It's a GREAT read on the epic turnaround of Ford under Alan Mulally. Spend the $9.60 and thank me later :thumbsup

Very True. The book belongs in every ''Ford Motor Company Ambassador's Library.''
Several People who are members of this Forum lived thru the efforts to save Ford... both with Alan during his tenure... and leading up to his joining our company.

When I read American Icon, it became clear that Bill Ford was the hero who knew that he needed to find an Alan Mulally to help change the company for the better. What Mulally did not only changed Ford he changed an industry. Cant wait to see what Alan does next and hope that Trump will use his immense talent on some way.
