Aftermarket Control Arms

It was a little under 1000 car sets that we supplied billet arms on the cars. We were competing against Boeing at the time for aluminum.
1369 has billet A arms.

You are welcome. Glad it is of use.

My memory may be off, but not sure I am that far off. I am checking, but I think one complication is possibly that your VIN is not directly tied to the build sequence for various reasons. I think that has been mentioned here elsewhere. I believe we built the first 50 VIN's very close to in sequence (I was one of the guys that shook the first 50 down at MPG), but I am not sure afterward. Will try to verify.

Definitely looks like my memory was way off on the number of billet arm car sets we did. Based on the VIN's reported here with billet arms and Ralphie's build sequence number with forged arms it looks like closer to 1700 some car sets of billet. I am still trying to verify the exact number with a few teammates...

Are the control arms akin to the gauges? Is it just a matter of the problem reaching the right ears. I don't know if the gauge problem is finally fixed but it seems a reasonable solution has been found. With the technology available today it would seem reproducing an existing proven part isn't that impossible. I understand the need for demand, but is it that much less than the gauges? You can drive with a broken gauge but not a balljoint or control arm.
