So, I received word a little over a week ago from a producer I have worked for in the past, that he needed to fly me out to Detroit to drive some of the 100th anniversary Corvettes. Budget was low and wanted some help.
So, I hired some local talent and one of those talents was DBK
He picked me up from the airport, I stayed with him for the whole weekend and he gave me a tour of Detroit.
DBK unfortunately now knows what some of my work is like and knows how big of a liar I am
We were able to see 10 different types of models from the ZR1 to the Z06, various lesser models and a prototype were just body panels were attached to an '06 chasis. not sure if it was an '06 or a Z06 Chasis.
DBK knows a lot about the models and can chime in and tell you what we saw but it was fun to be at The General Motors Proving Grounds in Milford, MI... and drive around some corvettes...
So, there we were in the blistering humidity of the midwest and DBK got stuck in a convertible and I must say, he looked great.
Dave, your knowledge of the cars were helpful and educational, thanks.
Also, thanks for yours and Francescas' hospitality and hosting me. It was great to meet Audrey in person and thanks for putting the dinner together with Kip and Jamal..
Post any pics you may have but try not to make too much fun of me
Thanks,
Stunts
