Well, the cat's outta the bag...I finally gave in to the TT bug after riding in SW's car a couple of weeks ago. Torrie had already planted the seed when I rode with him. Having a top notch shop like Cody's place so close to home put me over the edge.

After cutting my performance car teeth, so to speak, in the early 90s with my 5.0 LX notchback, from bolt ons to heads/cam, to a used Powerdyne centrifugal, culminating with an Incon twin turbo/6 speed setup, I am no stranger to twin turbo V8's. To those that see turbocharging as a replacement for displacement...I say why not have both?

I enjoyed my last blast with the Whipple on the drive from Houston to Buda, and I figured I'd share in the anticipation with you all. That setup is for sale; see the classifieds for details.

Here are some pics of the progress so far....not bad for 2 days of work!

I saw all of the blue tape and thought of you Shadowman! It was missing your hand model photos to go along with it, so I knew it was another careful craftsman.

Actually that was probably 6 months ago when I said that...and, well, you know, 1000 is a nice round number. ;-)

Where did you get the flanges to match the exhaust manifold?

Cody @ ART has a source...I'll let him chime in if he likes.

The flanges come from one of our sources that make alot of one off stuff for us.

are you driving to austin everyday?:lol

progress looks good!

Nice! Those guys at ART know how to get it done.

No, Cody is just really good about keeping me updated. Other tuners could learn a thing or two! :cheers
