Just wanted to congratulate one of our members (Dave Z) as today he logged 50,000 miles on his 2005 FGT. A true testament to a great built car.......WTG Dave.......wishing you another 50,000 my friend.:cheers

Gino

P.S. For those that do not know dave Z, he has the black FGT with the trailer.

If he keeps at it, MAYBE he'll catch PL510*Jeff one day! :lol :cheers

Have Hoosiers, will travel..:lol

my hero

I would love to put more miles on mine but can't go anywhere because of luggage constraints.

The older gentleman standing to the right of the FGT is Henry, Dave's father......he drives a volvo station wagon...at 81 years young, he gives me a hard time when i go to pass him on a track....makes his car very wide...lol

Good for you Dave Z.!!!!
Gino ,You should not admit that about Daves father !!!!
See you soon buddy !

Way to Go Dave. :thumbsup

All the best in your travels.

Dave not only drives his car like he stole it, but he is the guy that donated his wiper arm to the race team at limerock, so they could run!!!

That’s what I love about you guys. You only say the nicest things.
Not enough luggage space?
Take Jan's advice and get a trailer and enjoy the car.

50K. If only the car was not laid up in the garage several months each year more mileage would follow = more enjoyment. Darn NE winters!
It's the patina that makes the item more valuable (learned that from the Antique Road Show)!

:thumbsup:thumbsup

All the best putting on the next 50K. :cheers

You must be talking about BaronDW. Outstanding!

The trailer is going to allow me to put more miles of enjoyment on mine now too. J Byrd.

Trailers are great....especially for tires. however, my daughter and I went to Rally III in Vegas (from Texas to Chip's in AZ, Vegas, and back to Texas) 3K miles over 6 days. Used suction cup hooks to hang our clothes from the rear window behind the seats, put other items up front that heat did not effect. No problem.:thumbsup
