Ran into some cool folks during the pre-race grid walk. Surprised to see Frank Pikul here...he's shaved his mustache. Also said hello to Raj, Chip Ganassi, and Derek Bell.

David Rowan just text me and said the GT Forum Group was at the Hotel resting! He said “Don’t forget LeMans is 23 1/2 Hour Strategy Race and a 30 minutes Of Real Hard Racing”. He’s been there many times,

So this image flashes into my mind: One pink pig Porsche on top of another one "makin' bacon!"
 
Watching on Velocity Channel. Not the same as in person, but glad I could be there two years ago.
 
All my work in a race simulator really paid off. Got a few hot laps in before race time. Mastered clipping the apexes at the Porsche curves.

3:20 hrs to go. Currently “The Pink Pig” is up 2:30 on the exciting P2 battle between the Rothman’s Porsche and the #68. Those 2 are going back and forth. The Pig’s lead is courtesy of a slow zone yellow or safety car situation that occurred right behind it earlier in the race. Pace between Porsche and Ford dead even.

The Ford Performance web cast is pretty good. All four car webcams and overall standings. No Velocity here in motel.
