2016 Le Mans Invites Press Conference Livestream - 8:30 AM EST

A bit off topic but I sure hope Ben Keating and the Viper get a spot.

That the car they showed at the initial lemans announcement? I notice no mirrors?

Ferraris didn't have mirrors. When asked why Enzo's (urban legend?) answer was "I want the drivers looking where they're going not where they've been".

I don't think it's any surprise that all 4 GTs were invited. The ACO wants a Ford showing as much as the rest of us.

I was expecting 8 factory cars and 5 privateer cars. :lol

The numbers on the 4 cars is a nice touch

How about Nissan engines?

With 4 cars in a relatively small class, along with the historic significance, the pressure to win will be intense.

I think the 'Vettes will be the real challenge.

This is getting exciting... can't wait to hear tor roar of the engines again... LeMans here we come...

Anyone notice the driver assignments relative to country team/car? Two of the US Ganassi drivers (cars 66 & 67) at Daytona, are now slated to have seats in the WEC entries (68 & 69). Is this a learning/sharing initiative?

Great News !! How do we get the Le Mans Book with the GT on it ??

Looks like it goes on sale in June 2016

Great News!
Interesting! I was told in Daytona that only the 2 Ford GT's were going to Le Mans! The two GT-Prototypes' teams/crews obviously didn't know in advance that they might be going to Le Mans!
What GREAT NEWS to start the weekend! :) Thanks for sharing!

NICE! We better blow the competitions doors in with 4 GT-s!
Better probability of success with the Daytona "practice" under the belt!
EXCELLENT!

All 60 cars are running Michelins or Dunlops.

Great news! When will they announce the complete list of drivers?

Looks like fun! It will be crowded out there, especially at the start. Kind of like an L.A. Freeway. Great to have four cars in there. Go Ford!

I see their name listed on page 2 post #20 of this thread

Baahh, humbug. :thumbsdow

If 60 cars on 8 miles is crowded at Le Mans, what was 70 on 4 at Daytona and Sebring??? :tongue :biggrin

I think the average speeds are much higher at Le Mans than at Daytona. That can make a big difference.

Spa also has longer straights ... going to be an interesting weekend ... best of luck to the team.
