Nice Andy! Love the "big picture" and the fine detail (taillight, mirror) shots.

How unfortunate for Acura to be right next to Ford.

DBK...you need to get those "Ford Performance" plates in the forum store. :)

This is probably the best angle of the car:

Re: interior

Where is cigarette lighter port for trickle charger?!?

The underside shot shows great aero from the diffuser. And if the plan is to race the car, then the V6 turbo is perfect....think of the packaging. Remember that the big V12 and slightly bigger V8’s take up more space and would not allow the engine panel to be so sculptured. Looking at the rear ducting of the car around the engine bay, the air is accelerated to the rear wing, making more use of the wing. This is even without turning it into a race car. It's all about the tight packaging. In racing it's all about efficiency....power, fuel, aero etc.

For a race car, the current moving rear aero structure will be fixed, and an additional rear wing at the same height as the roof of the car will be added with adjustable angles depending on downforce vs. drag. Those ducts will be ready for that additional rear wing, used to accelerate the airflow over the wing. If the airflow is speeded up, the downforce increases, so if the airflow is already accelerated, then the wing can be smaller to create the necessary level of downforce but without the drag.

VERY EXCITING TIMES FOR FORD....and for us :-)

Believe it or not, this view is not in this thread until now. Like the FGT, the FGT2/FGTE does not have a bad angle. I submit, however, that this is the weakest.

However, only a squirrel about to die will see this view.

Oh my god. That's hilarious, and true. Lmao

The front is perfect when viewed in person. It is unmistakably an evolution of the FGT front fascia. It is neither overwrought nor boring.

Couple shots from this morning. Went back one more time with Indy GT and DoctorV8. Saw Cobrar and Noir GT.

Stunning last set of pictures. I have an original 1969 Le Mans poster like that in my living room. Very cool that it was September rather than June.

Thank goodness we were not there on a public day. Those crowds are crazy.
