I'll take it

Not fair, unfair advantage, I was posting at that time.

DBK It is yours. Send me your email at [email protected]

Thank you thank you sir. Was looking for one of these. If anyone has a driver's side I'd like one of those as well. I've run with my lights on quite a bit and it really put a lot of hairline cracks inside the headlight cover.

Yeah, but I actually need it, not for hoarding purposes. :lol

Hoarding?? I only have one GT. ;-))

Damn he is fast!
What does he do, watch this Forum all the time????

Are these light assemblies actually available from Ford at this time?

Yeah. The original supplier Guide went bust a number of years ago, and when the supply was exhausted Ford spent quite a bit of money to retool the headlights and produce more. The old headlights have the Guide logo in the headlight cover up at the top, the new ones do not.

Are the new ones........"better"?

Mine like to fog on rainy/humid days (they seem to clear up fine tho), hoping that has improved.

Remember when we could identify the year of a car's manufacture by looking at the "GUIDE" date on the rear brake light lens?

That's true. I had forgotten all about that. You are showing your age by knowing that. When did that stop?

I honestly don't know, but I strongly suspect that nothing was changed. I'll ask tomorrow.

Mucho Gracias

Using your headlights cracks the cover? Who knew?

Flashlights from now on.

Anyone who is anybody knew that.

The problem with the headlight lens crazing first appeared with the Canadian cars because of the daytime running lights.

Considering I am not anybody, and my GT's headlights have been on for most of 20k miles, I'll be sure to watch out for that.

I have 1 in the box never opened. Right side $1500 just cleaning out storage.

That is why mine were turned off while I was in Detroit last year.
In Sonoma a few of us were sitting in the lounge & I mentioned I had my DRLs turned off. Camilo said why, I always drive with my lights on. I agreed and now drive with my fog lights on instead.
