1971 Ford Bronco

I started posting pictures of my Bronco restoration in another GT Forum thread titled "New Bronco". It will look vintage on the outside. Under the hood will be a 390 hp fuel injected 302. Every part on the restoration will be brand new with the exception of frame, transfer case and the glovebox door. The build is almost done and the Bronco should be back home in Austin sometime in April. I can't wait to take it out for a drive in the Texas Hill Country.

I just read a survey of Wall Street banks, analysts, etc. that indicated that with the higher than expected performance of the equities markets, these guys are spending more on luxury items for themselves. Top among the list were older, vintage Ford Broncos. I wish I still had mine, looks like values may go high if demand continues to climb.

I just read a survey of Wall Street banks, analysts, etc. that indicated that with the higher than expected performance of the equities markets, these guys are spending more on luxury items for themselves. Top among the list were older, vintage Ford Broncos. I wish I still had mine, looks like values may go high if demand continues to climb.

Thanks for all the positive comments on the Bronco. I should get it back in about a week. Looking forward to driving her. I did take the GT for a spin this am. I don't want her to get jealous when her sister returns home from her Rumsphringa.

Always been in love with the original bronco, great look great style. Lots of fun offroad. I always had a hard time restoring an offroad car to that level, I'd hate to take it mudding after all that!

It's just going to be a quirky Austin street car and won't see mud. I'll take it to places where the parking sucks and my GT would never fit.

Very nice. I almost bought a 1976 year model (the last year for this body style) from Drew Ford in La Mesa, Ca,
now called Penske Ford. You will have a bunch of fun with that beauty.

My Bronco was delivered on Easter Sunday. Thanks Easter Bunny!!!

The owner of the shop delivered it himself. He told me that his shop is currently restoring a 1977 Bronco for very very very high up Ford executive.
