05/06 Power Steering Hose Deterioration

For the non-handy types, where is this hose located where it can be seen?
There are 2 hoses coming from the bottom of the power steering Reservoir. The larger of the 2 is the one going bad. Very easy to see and touch.

Is the smaller of the two hose still available?

If you replace one, might as well do the other while you are there.

Location is shown on pg 144 of the owner's manual

So mine was a little greasy/dirty, not sticky....hard to say how much was deterioration and how much was just regular stuff on a 30k mile car. When I squeezed it, there are still resistance.

Is there a price for this hose yet?

I'm interested too, thanks.

Rich, thanks for the help today with my car’s coolant issue. And for the hose I picked up, glad to have it.

The pressure side (small hose) doesn't seem to be having a problem. Not sure if they are still available.

Yes, it’s easy to see. Find the power steering reservoir (passenger side, aft of the oil tank). It has two hoses. The larger one is the return hose and is the one that may be swelling and leaking. Run your hand along it to check.

The cost for the replacement hose is $300. plus $ 7 shipping. PayPal is preferred, but I can do a check.

My '05 GT is in for its annual service now and has this issue. How do I get you my information to purchase one of these hoses?

Thanks!

The holiday season is upon us boys and girls. Time to treat your 05/06 GT to a brand spanking new Power Steering hose. She will thank you for your foresight. When this batch is gone, there will be no more. There are 2-3+ thousand GTs still around and only 475 replacement hoses left. Get yours before their gone. Buy 2, their small. Contact Me or the GT Guy, Rich Brooks for your very own hose.

Got mine ,thx. Do you also have the air duct kits to make the front air scoops functional?

Because of lack of room behind the faux air intakes, ducting is totally impractical. I'm told on the first hand built cars, it was given consideration, but when the radiator package and associated lines were installed, it would not work. I had an idea how something might be made to work, but never really followed up on it.

It's impractical, but a few have done it. Nobody is excited to do it again tho.

I included my shipping address and phone number in the PayPal payment notes. Is that visible to you?
