I am ready for a pulley but....

I would like to take a look at those graphs again, but I can't find the whipple thread you are referring to. Where did that thread go? Steve

    New DynoJet runs: 572 rwhp!!

Wow! All of that with a factory longblock!! That is absolutely staggering! A couple more questions. Whose turbos are you using? What kind of cfm do they flow? How much boost are you running? Steve

    New DynoJet runs: 572 rwhp!!

Torrie, That is a very generous offer - and much appreciated! I have never been to Florida but you have given me a good reason to go. The video of your car was quite impressive. Did you do any of the supercharger mods or just go directly to the turbo's? Based on your experience with PD...

    New DynoJet runs: 572 rwhp!!

I am leaning towards a Whipple. I realize that turbocharging is the way to go for really big power but for this car I like the simplicity of the supercharger. Who knows where this will take me. Joe and Torrie's twin turbo cars appear to be in a league of their own. Being new to this forum, I...

Thanks Tim! There will be more on the way when I decide what is next. Steve

    New DynoJet runs: 572 rwhp!!

Thanks, Torrie! I am a little more than half way to your numbers. :ack That is until you make your next set of runs! Steve

    New DynoJet runs: 572 rwhp!!

One of the benefits of having a DynoJet is being able to test at will. Since I am new to this supercharging thing I am still learning. The best way I know to learn is by making more runs and trying different things. As I stated in my last thread, I have had a few conversations with Tony at...

DynoJet results: Accufab 'X' pipe & SCT Tuner

Well said, I couldn't have put it any better myself. I get that same smile on my face everytime I make a good dyno run. It's addicting.:biggrin Steve

DynoJet results: Accufab 'X' pipe & SCT Tuner

I made a few runs today and the results were much better. I had a conversation with Tony @ HP Performance and he suggested I close up my plug gap to .030". His advice was perfect. The runs are now MUCH smoother at the smoothing factor of 0 and the overall horsepower and torque are up as well...

    5W-50 Full Synthetic Oil Recommendation

I have been using Mobil 1 in my turbo and nitrous cars for a number of years with great results. However, I am going to stick with what Ford recommends for this car - the Motorcraft 5w-50. I got a great deal from my dealer on 3 cases of the Motorcraft 5w-50 as well as 3 filters. I will be...

Interesting. I will need to research this. Thanks. Steve

DynoJet results: Accufab 'X' pipe & SCT Tuner

Thanks, Jay. Consistancy is exactly what I strive for. I make use of the smoothing values when I am comparing runs with different combinations. Great question about the stock GT exhaust system. Even with the stock tune and 'X' pipe, the A/F will still extremely rich. Torrie summed it up...

DynoJet results: Accufab 'X' pipe & SCT Tuner

Thank you. That is the kind of info I was looking for. As I said, I have had no experience with supercharging and the turbo's I have done have not exhibited that. Steve

DynoJet results: Accufab 'X' pipe & SCT Tuner

I don't do this for a living so you probably know more about this than I do. With smoothing at 0 I have seen some jaggedness but not to this extent. Steve

DynoJet results: Accufab 'X' pipe & SCT Tuner

The issue I am referring to is the jaggedness and what it represents. I have made over 500 runs on my DynoJet and have NEVER seen this kind of jaggedness. This includes some extremely high horsepower naturally aspirated as well as nitrous fed cars. If this is normal for these motors than so...
