The seller is leaving more than a few large on the table. I wonder why? So should you!

    shortening the shifter

Such modification would yield an unacceptable level of shifting effort since the lenght of the shaft below the pivot point would be disporportionate to (shortened) length above the pivot point. As Ralphiw said, get a short throw shifter. Such a wonderful mod that I bought a spare.

So.... anybody ready to start talking about alternative gauges for the FGT?

That is disappointing and somewhat perplexing. I wll replace my voltmeter and sent it to you ASAP.

So.... anybody ready to start talking about alternative gauges for the FGT?

As previously posted, about a year ago my fuel gauge failed and had to be replaced. Then about 6 months ago my volt meter failed. I've resisted replacing the volt meter because of the uncertainty as to what is actually causing the failures and hence the possibility of a recurrence. All this...

    THE Tire Thread

True, except in combination with the 345/35 rear tires, the rear drops 0.41" so the orientation of the car is more "nose up" compared to stock. The combination of 255/40 and 345/35 reduces this measurement to 0.11" which IMO is acceptable. I'll bet if the 255/40's are shaved from 11/32" to...

    THE Tire Thread

Having considered a multitude of options over several weeks, I have settled on Bridgestone tires as replacements for the overpriced, poor handling, noisy, low grip, OEM Goodyears. My choices were: Front RE050A 255/40-18 Rear RE050A Scuderia 345/35-19Rationale: With diameter reductions of...

Thanks GT35065. Your post is completely consistent with what I wanted to say but at the time all diplomacy would have fallen by the wayside.

    Ford Raptor Question

The Raptor is hands down the hottest sport pickup of all time and I am seriously considering one as a daily driver. I am hoping for fuel economy significantly better than my Dodge Ram (5.9L and 10 mpg avg.). So the question is what can I realistically expect from the Raptor? Does the 5.4L...

    Battery/gauge question

Presently, there is no evidence to suggest the root cause of the gauge failures. So at this point it really doesn't matter.

    Radio and gauge problem

Similarly and probably remote as well ..... I was wondering if the car were to be started with the trickle charger on (I've done this a couple of times) could this result in a gauge damaging power surge?
