    heritage paint question

Re Gamera's and fjpikul's posts, can a Heritage GT owner measure the diameter of the roundels on the doors, hood and rear clam and post here? Height of the numbers would help as well. I may get some made up at a sign shop. Eric

    Exhaust Question

I have the AccuFab X-pipe and simply love it. No drone at 2000rpm, more like Zim describes, a "tone" change. I now routinely drive around with the windows down! The pipe is compact and good looking and according to AccuFab, adds about 10HP and 12TQ on the Ford GT. Eric

    Tungsten in Atlanta

If it's the same one I saw at Gwinnett Place ford a month ago, I know why they traded it to Mall of Georgia Ford: The salesaman told me they were "asking $195,000". I grinned, told him I already had one, and wasn't going to buy another...at least not at that looney tunes price! That tungsten...

    Engine stalls

Fly, Tank is indeed 17.5 gallons and the gauge is fairly accurate. Of course like all cars, there is some safety margin built in, i.e., when it indicates empty, you still have some fuel left. If I am not "Hot Rodding" the car, I consistently get 15-16 MPG in combined driving. Others have...

    LO-Jack Instillation

I have the Lo-Jack system installed but I don't know where. I don't really want to know actually...in this instance, what I don't know can't hurt me. It DOES work though. I have left home without the tracking key fob and the system immediately alerted me that my car may have been moved/stolen...

Yet Another Accufab X-Pipe Install, but

Yep, the link provided by Centerpunch is my car. FFcobra provided his lift for the installation and recorded the sounds. I couldn't be happier with the sound of the pipe. Sounds like a finely tuned race car when I'm going up through gears... Eric

    Broken GT

This is terrible...but unfortunately, not surprising to me. This man should be taken off the streets for a long time. I only hope the GT driver is not soured so much that he is unwilling to drive another GT. However, if he doesn't, I'd understand. Eric

    High Octane Fuel

Some time ago I promised in this link: http://www.fordgtforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1111 to update all about my experience with different fuels. So far I have found that Shell and BP fuels are good. In the Atlanta area where I am, the one fuel brand I have had poor results with is QT...

    Accufab Install

Accufab pipe update... I've now put a couple of hundred miles on the new pipe in the last few days and have some further observations. 1. The pipe continues to please in terms of sound. People that do not see the car now turn to look when they HEAR it. 2. Coolant Temperture as indicated by my...

Gauge Death -- That was weird...

I just had the EXACT same thing happen to me after I installed my Accufab pipe. In addition to all the gauges not working, the drivers side window was sluggish. The car ran fine. I drove for about 5 minutes and then shut down the car. After shutting down and restarting everything worked fine. I...
