Hello, I Am Looking To Buy A Set Of Aftermarket Rims For My 06 Tungsten, Not Sure What Would Look Better Crome Or Black And Crome, please Send Pics If You Have

Neither! Matte finish please.

Black or Gunmetal!

No chrome, unless it's a street only SUV. And even then...

Chrome wheels won't compliment Tungsten as well as the other suggestions above will. Just MHO. :cheers

Rocman is the King of Wheels. I couldn't agree with him more, black or gunmetal (I lean towards gunmetal).

Hey Rocman, are you coming to the rally?

Along with the new wheels, to make the vehicle look its best, a white/blue paint scheme is a must have. :biggrin

Here are the wheels I bought, just installed them. The screaming yellow zonker GT is not mine...

Hi Tim,
Not sure. I would feel funny since I dont have my GT any longer. My wife and I may make an appearance if time allows.:biggrin

Nice wheels! You have good taste!:biggrin

How about the stock upgraded wheels in black?????

Timmy,
I have seen them powder coated, although I think painting is better from a strenght standpoint.

Could you please give details of this wheel tyre combo.
JT

Powdercoating is far more durable than paint. You have more options with paint as far as colors and pearls, but powdercoat is thicker and is baked on.

I was thinking that the heat involved in powdercoating could compromise the integrity of the wheel.

If I remember correctly, it is only around 350-400 degrees. That is not enough heat to harm your wheel. Everyone that changes their wheel color on high end cars usually go the powdercoat route.
