Fire suppression group buy

Done.

The std pwdr coat color on the bottles is white. Anybody thinking about changing it?

I'm debating on going to black to match all the other "bottles" (so to speak) in the area where this will mount.

Actually I like the bottle being "noticeable" in the engine bay. Should something occur and I am not physically capable, having the bottle immediately identifiable could come in handy. Also, using a color that is easily recognizable by safety crews I think is a plus. NASCAR and many other organizations use that color for the bottle. That is also why I did not choose black for the quick release extinguisher mounted to the seat. My logic may be a little anal, but what the heck.

Hey, you like what you like! 'Nuthin' wrong with that!
As I stated above somewhere, I'm pbly going to "rattle can" mine. But, I'm going 2C what the white looks like sitting in the engine bay 1st.

OK guys, It's time to step up and start ordering. We've got over 10 committed so if all of you will call Don at Safecraft and place your orders ASAP we should qualify for the $465 plus Freight price. Just tell him you're with the GT forum group buy.

If you want anything special like bigger bottles, powdercoated bottles, or hard lines talk to him when you order. He'll tell you what your upcharge will be.

Delivery will start sometime next week when he gets all the parts in to build the kits so it's important to get at least 10 orders to him by the first of the week.

I'll be out of town all next week on a motorcycle trip and will be out of touch. I ain't taking no damn computer. From here on out it's between you and Don. I've placed my order already. Also ordered Kendalls Cooltech cooler.:cheers

Don at Safecraft - 800-400-2259
Mention the GT group buy. $465 plus freight

Keith
See you at Indy

Have sent Don and email, I am in, but want some upgrades and have the Ford Racing Cooler installed (before Kendall's was available)

Order sent to Don VIA e-mail...

Thanks again,

Rob

I will call on Monday and order. Like Rob I need the "igloo" version.
Like the idea of a goup buy on the transaxle cooler as well. There has to be some Ford dealers here as well. What would be a group buy from Ford on their system.
Come on cooltech again help us out with your great products!:thumbsup

I'm on it! Actually Don and have been working very closely on this project (great guy and great company, by the way). Don and I have discussed some different bottle sizes and options and there's a care package sent by Don to me that should arrive Monday or Tuesday.

I have two Transaxle Cooler Kits ordered and standing by for the final fit/measurement so that everything works together completely - and I will also include any hardware that may be needed for the suppesion kit mounting. The Cool Tech Transaxle Cooler bracket will come with the right modifications to allow mounting and I will add an addendum to the instructions to further improve the ease of installation and compatibility.

The Cool Tech website has been modified to allow you to specify if you want the Fire Supression mods & hardware, and there is no additional cost.

Consider that you can purchase the Cool Tech Transaxle Cooler AND the custom Safecraft GT Supression system for the same price as the Ford Transaxle kit alone. Both the Cool Tech Transaxle Cooler and the Saftecraft fire Supression are custom for the GT and will be completely compatible.

Don is away this week. Have sent him an email to confirm order as part of Group buy with Canadian specs.

Just a quick update

I chatted with Steve today at SafeCraft and he shared that approximatley 15 systems have been ordered thus far. He went on to share that they are preparing to order several key pieces and wants to make certain that no one is left out. I suspect that one of those pieces in question are the custom (specific to the GT's) brackets used to retain the nozzles.

Having shared this I would encourage all that are still considering this option to get off the proverbial fence and decide because with the driving season in front of us and the peace of mind that the systen will afford there is no better time.

Wow.............. now that was akin to a sales pitch but in the end all I want to do is make sure that folks take this offering serious.

All the best

Shadowman

I'm In

Late to the game, but I will order in the morning.
Don:thumbsup

Order placed

I just placed my order with Don at Safecraft for the FFRP Trans-cooler version that he is working on with Shadowman. It will come with a valve at the bottle and will cost a little more. A very pleasant person to deal with!

We are on the home stretch

I have mounted the brackets on the Ford Racing transcooler bracket after numberous dry fits. In addition Don was kind enough to have custom flex lines for this system fabricated so that the looks remain integrated.

At this time I am creating the installation method which is different from Kendall's and his CoolTech version because with the Ford Racing transcooler space is much more limited.

All said and done it looks "stellar"

Takes care
