Further to 2112's post, has anyone tried these front splitter protectors? Two versions I found on line so far, ones is several self tap screw in individual circular pieces strategically placed and another is as above, stick on approximately 12 inch lengths, Sliplo has 8 pieces for $99.00. I have relatively low mile car but upon inspection have scrapped splitter mainly in the front 3 feet either side of center. Seems like good idea saw one you tube were applied to Z06 closest comparison to GT.

considering some people pay 6 bucks for a cup of joe I would say this falls right inline with our current value system.. I have it on my new Gt I like it.. sure you can go get some "plastic" yourself, cut it, then get some 3M double sided tape and make it yourself for far less than 100 bucks...

we went to brunch the other day and it was 4 times the price of sliplo,.. it was a good brunch
