My 99 F150 is at 251,000 miles and was seriously considering new electric truck for a replacement. I may have to change direction if the new Raptor has 700+ Hp V8 !!!

I doubt it.
I was surprised that Ford did the Godzilla for the Heavy Duty. Would like to see them do a plug-and-play crate of that engine. I'm sure some of the creative engineering hot rod people will do some neat things with them anyway.

Other than diesel, I don't think you will ever see Ford do another "new" V-8.

I've had two Raptors and really like them and if they produce them with high hp V8 I'll be one of the first ones in line to get one
