What have you learned about your NGT today??

Great thread. Interesting info. Well done.

I've learned that the brake pads will last you 2 track days :-)

What did it cost to replace them?

To those of you lucky few, does the NFGT have CC?

Carbon ceramic brakes? Yes.

Maybe CC means Cruise Control.

CC=Cruise control. CCB=carbon ceramic brakes

Yes it has cruise control. I used it most of the way to mid-Ohio. Car gets mid 20s on the highway in cruise.

Mid-20's? Pretty good for that car.

How far does that get you on a tank?

The tank is listed at 15.2 Gals,, I would use this as a high Mileage guide line : 14 Gal x 20 to 22 MPG.. 280 to 308. Miles . but getting that low on fuel might be risky,, I probably would go 200 to 250 max miles to make sure you didn't get too low.. If I recall the pump is submerged so you want to keep it cool,,

Smart enough to say "Get me out of this damn heat!"

After a day parked in 110゚sun, only a small font for speed was displayed with this message until interior temperature cooled the dash module. About 15 minutes with a/c on then all displays returned. I think putting up a reflective windshield cover and side windows ajar when parked will prevent the interior from overheating.

We did a light tint on my White GT side windows to cut down on the interior heat in summer temperatures in Texas. Arizona temperatures are even higher.

my average so far is around 10.. :) not much highway driving...

I just had PPF installed on my wife’s car and the installer showed me window film, some of which are clear (no tint), which greatly reduce radiant heat and UV rays. I’m going to install it on the NFGT.

Not cheap I'm afraid (in Eurpoe anyway). Don't know about pricing in the US.

I wonder how many sets of pads before the rotors need to be replaced. I think NJS has used up a set of rotors.

I learned that the 18 tow hook works with the 05, and matches better. The 05 hook will not work on the 18 (not long enough)

But also that the "mower axle" tow hook front license plate bracket will work on the 18. The threads are the same as the 05

18 hook on the 05, and plate on 18 (note, only installed once a year for an inspection sticker, and no that's not the normal plate for the car, but from a "good year").

Fuel capacity is 15.2 gallons but the fuel gauge and remaining miles display is set for 13 gallons. This was done to keep the fuel pump happy and while racing and turning that last two gallons is not sloshing around and creating fuel starvation.
