Hi Guys finally some good news. My watches came in today by UPS. Were supposed to be delivered last Friday but they mixed up the address of delivery by one building. Anyways the watch es are great. All the packaging has the GT logo on them, which is really cool . All have their own package, warranty and info booklet.
Very nice stuff.
Great stocking suffers for me!!!

Guys..I read the owners manual for the
watch.
Can not find any thing about battery life, how to replace the battery or
If it came with a battery tender.
Any insight?

Sure. Modern quartz watches with a digital display will often run for 5+ years. Quartz watches that turn hands (like these) will typically only run for a year or two. Most of the battery power is used to turn the hands. When you are not wearing an electric mechanical watch you can usually extend it’s battery life quite a bit while it’s in storage by pulling the stem out so the hands stop turning. I’ve never replaced a watch battery because A. I don’t have a spare on hand and B. I don’t have the proper tools or skill to open it. When it stops running take it to a fine watch shop and for a few dollars (free if you’re a good customer) they will replace it in a couple minutes while you wait. Cheers.

Sounds like a much better plan than a scratched watch case and/or bloody fingers from using the wrong tool...I learned that lesson a long time ago. :leaving:

I finally had a chance to play with some iterations of the owner's watch.

Very, very cool. A really nice piece that is fitting for the car with many touches unique to the car itself. Hopefully info on ordering coming soon.
