This is to good not to share. This is the all new 2018 Ford Expedition. I have been in the business for over 22 years and a car guy pretty much my whole life. This is the nicest vehicle I have EVER driven. For all you Tahoe, Suburban, Yukon, Escalade drivers out there, please check this out. I can pretty much guarantee you won’t get another GM full size SUV. Powertrain, towing, ride quality, seating (especially third row), storage and technology this is tops. Yes this has a nicer, higher quality interior than an Escalade. The table has turned, Ford is back in the full size SUV segment in a big way. :). This one is one of the few in the country that is available. Or order through us and I can have it shipped to a dealer by you!

Bring back the Excursion and we'll talk! :biggrin

Not white seats though. Ever.

Nice SUV. My only question is there any other engine options on the 2018 other than the Ecoboost V6. I had a limited edition F150 with the Ecoboost and the gas mileage pulling a trailer was 3 to 5 miles a gallon. I traded it last year for a new Escolade with the 400 V8. Now I am doing 12 to 14 miles per gallon pulling a 18 foot trailer. Always a Ford guy but not a fan of the Ecoboost for pulling applications. Thanks and beautiful interior. I still have a 2010 Navigator and my wife won't let me trade it. Great vehicle and can pull effortlessly.

I just bought a mint 2005 2wd 5.4 excursion and i am doing a coyote 5.0 with 6r80 trans and a front feed whipple supercharger on it. single stainless 4'' diesel exhaust! its true blue xlt with 1000 miles on it. gonna be a cool build.

The ecoboost is the only engine available. Wow, 3-5 mpg is bad. I haven't seen that with the ecoboost. We tow our Jimglo trailer loaded with a F150 3.5 ecoboost and we get 10-12 all day long. It is by far the best towing engine we have especially now that it is paired with the new 10 speed transmission. That trans makes all the difference in the world.

What are you pulling ? a D8?
I haul F350s and E350s behind my 2016 F150 Platinum FX4 and will get 13-14 at 75mph, relatively flat grade/sea level.

My Eco-boost F-150's are the best tow vehicles I have certainly ever owned. My worst gas mileage even Detroit to Salt Lake City was 10 -11 mpg.

I just bought a 2018 F-150 Supercrew Platinum Edition. I've owned it for about a month. It has the most luxurious interior and has more options than a Cayenne or Range Rover. I love love love this truck. It rides so smooth you can't believe your in a truck. The 3.5L ecoboost with the ten speed seems to pull much harder than did my 2012 F-150 ecoboost with the 6 speed. I'm also getting 3 mpg more than my previous truck. I highly recommend one. I would wager the new Expedition rides even better with its independent suspension.

Yeah this where the Expedition shines. The powertrain and the independent rear suspension. When you get the 22'' wheels you get Continously Controlled Suspension . Rides much better than the competition, especially over imperfect roads. Also having the independent suspension allows an adult to sit in the third row seat without their knees being by their chin! Sit in a GM and then the Ford and you will know what I mean. :)

We have a 4wd platinum on order. Should have it within the month. We will be “upgrading” from a 2013 Mercedes GL350 Diesel. The MB is nice... when it’s not in the shop. My 2016 F150 is every bit as nice as the MB.
Here are differences I’ve noticed:
Ford’s sync is lightyears ahead of MB command system. IMHO Ford has the best sounding (on both ends) Bluetooth on the market.
Ride quality is comparable even against MB airmatic. And a lot less maintenance.
Quiet! My F150 is way quieter with road noise the the MB
USB ports. My MB has none!
Remote start... how does MB not have this?!
Fit and finish are comparable.
Dealers are close by for service.
Parts are better priced and readily available.
I also agree with the comparison to the suburban in regards to ride quality. The ride in the back of a suburban/ Yukon xl is gut wrenching to say the least.

I installed a Corsa cat back exhaust on my 2018 Raptor. Now the 3.5 Ecoboost sounds so much better.

I'm a big fan of the engine so I put "Powered By ECOBOOST" on my door.

Beautiful vehicle! We ordered the new navigator months ago and can’t wait for it to show up (hopefully soon)

I just saw one at an auto show. It has a tremendous presence. Very formal with the tall side sheetmetal.

We ordered an '18 Platinum 4WD Expedition a couple of weeks ago. Build date early Jan. Was hoping to get it sooner than that. This will be our 6th one since '97. Wifey loves them over all others. Prefers it to my Cayenne......

We ordered a Platinum max 6 weeks ago and have an January build date. Wife can’t wait. Almost takes as long as my GT.

Great minds think alike Blake! What color did Rene go for? Martha chose the Gold, I preferred the White which is what our King Ranch Expedition was.

Yes this has a nicer, higher quality interior than an Escalade.

That is not exactly a very high bar.

Good to see Ford going after this market segment again.

Looks pretty nice, but one thing I do not like about the previous versions, and has been retained here, is putting the transmission selector control on the center console. At least it's not a big lever like in previous models. I greatly prefer the shift lever to be on the column, or somewhere on the dash. My current Chevy Avalanche has a column shifter, which leaves the center console open for cupholders, coins, phone, and other stuff, like my lunch bag when going through the drive-thru window. In a big family vehicle, storage space and conveniences are king.

beautiful truck but only the eco-boost is available? that's where they might loose some market compared to GM. what a nice piece it would be with a Coyote 5.0. yep, Excursions forever! wish they brought it back with the new diesel option.

Love my 03 Ex!! Hauls my wife and I and 6 kids with plenty of room for luggage!! Wanted the 7.3 but found this V10!
