Monterey Car Week

Glad we got to see you there!

Exotics on Cannery Row was really insane. It was a gauntlet of what had to be 10k people, but it was VERY well managed by Michelin and EOCR. They had red shirts everywhere parting the red sea. Crazy

For sure- EOCR crowds make Main Street Disneyland on a weekend look like a ghost town in comparison! The cars are pretty amazing.

Car week is my second favorite week of the year; right behind the Ford GT Forum Rally. Le Mans ranks up there too.

Got my 15 minutes in

And I, my 15 sec next to the man!

Very cool... wish I knew you were going to all these places... I guess there is always next year.

My hotel room balcony overlooks EOTR. Best seat in the house. The crowd really came alive when the NGTs rolled in!

I'm not sure why this thread is under 2017+ Ford GT so I'd better show a photo of a few NGTs.

Yup. I think the owner has 4. He's really into Singer.

Ok I'll be the ignorant guy, what is a "Singer". Obviously a Porsche with an oddly placed gas cap but what for?

Without getting into a massive discussion about what exactly to call it, it's a re-engineered 964 that runs in the ballpark of $500k now.

The one millionth 911, that's incredible. Great color on that one too! Putting this event on the list.

I didnt know about them until recently also

they are the epitome of a tastefully restomoded porsche, however, since you are paying 500K you can't call it a restomod you have to call it re-engineered :) as cool as they, for 500K i rather have a GT and many many other cars before a singer.

Rhetorical question or are you offering? ;) Yes please!
